We are hiring a contract entry and mid POS technician to join our IT team. You will install and maintain of network cabling, point of sale software support and other related IT issues in restaurant environments.
Responsibilities and duties:
Participates in hands-on work and support including but not limited to networking, hardware, software, and POS.
Support and configuration of POS
Troubleshoot, repair and/ or replace hardware and network cable and connectivity issues.
Install various types of network equipment (i.e. switches, routers, wireless access points and POS.)
Test computer peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working appropriately.
Internet and phone support for all store locations
Troubleshoots and resolves IT related issues in a timely manner
Liaise with IT Help Desk on escalated technical issues.
2+Years of experience and knowledge of POS, network applications and devices
Experience in troubleshooting cabling, hardware and network related issues in the field.
Technical troubleshooting skills with outstanding problem-solving skills
Ability to adhere to deadlines
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner, and listen attentively to others, understand material, and provide instructions to vendors and associates
Ability to work a full-time schedule. Some holidays and off-hours (nights and weekends) work
Valid Driver’s license as travel is required for site visits and installations etc.
Job Types: Temporary Full time, Contract
Salary: $17.00 to $20.00/hour
